Right now on my primitive forum we are having a Trash 2
Treasure swap we had several girls sign up to participate
all we have to do is visit our favorite thrift store
(thats sure easy enough huh) and buy 10.00 worth of items
take them home and get a before picture, then redo the items
to fit into a primitive decor home take another after photo
and send out the goodies to our swap partner, I can't wait
to see what my partner Robin (birdinthehandprimitives.com)
comes up with for me.. I will post the pictures here once
the swap is over with... woo hoo what fun... Maybe you can
join us for the next one...

PRICE OF GAS PROTEST....
Have you gotten the new ‘bring down gas prices’ email that is going around yet? I got one this morning, and I’m sure MANY more will follow. I never forward that stuff on, BUT this one really IS worth considering, so I shall pass it along via my blog.
I never understood how the ‘old’ idea of ‘nobody buy gas for a day’ would change anything. And apparently it didn’t work because the only thing that has changed is that gas prices have gone UP. PAINFULLY high.
The new idea is for everyone to not buy gas from the two biggest oil companies, Exxon and Mobil; FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR! Now that might actually accomplish something! IF, if, IF as many gas buyers as possible really stick to the plan.
The circulating email says that this will force the two biggies to lower prices and everyone else will follow suit. Makes sense. BUT, what I predict may happen is that it will take a couple weeks at best for the inertia to begin, THEN everyone will run out and buy Exxon and Mobil as soon as they are a few cents lower than everyone else. Which will really sabotage the ‘ultimate goal’ of this mission.
Personally, I never buy gas from either, so MY efforts are mute. There are only a couple of gas stations between home and the store for me to fill up at, and it’s kind of silly to go waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of your way to get gas.
What do YOU think? Have you gotten the email yet? Will you join the protest? Do you think it could work if everyone REALLY sticks to their convictions for the rest of the year?????

cost on to the consumers... where is this going to end...WHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
